An even more unexpected development is doing group work online, a mainstay of counselling training and development. I am feeling really excited about where this might take us in 2010 and beyond!
I get the feeling the gap between online and face to face is closing or perhaps changing so that communication is seamless as we move between different environments. Allowing the conversation and relationship to be maintained as it moves between face to face, email, SMS, video, telephone, virtual reality and whatever comes next!
The world changes and my belief is that we are communicating and relating more and more, let's hope it's true and ongoing!
